Head of Department – Quantity Surveyor

Our client, a leading Engineering, Procurement and Construction Management company based in Saudi, is urgently seeking a Head of Department (HoD) - Quantity Surveying for the design Department. The top preference would be WESTERN candidates. The job location is Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The job requires:

1. Cost engineering or project management experience on large-scale construction projects.
2. Experience preparing budgets, cash flow analyses, and other financial reports.
3. Demonstrated client management, communication, and organization skills.
4. Lead projects and manage resources, strategically thinking, planning, and problem-solving.
5. Capacity to work in a team setting with minimal supervision or direction.
6. Write complex business documents, such as reports, papers, detailed letters, and emails.
7. Attention to detail and quality.
8. Work with all disciplines (Architectural/Structural/Civil, MEP, and Electrical).
9. Detailed measurement and pricing of building and engineering systems.
10. Monitor designs.
11. Collaborate with design teams and Client’s technical leads.
12. Evaluate and reconcile bids.
13. Perform contract negotiations.

Minimum Requirements:

1. Should possess at least a Bachelor’s degree in Cost Engineering/Quantity Surveying. A Master’s degree is a plus.
2. Must have at least 15 years of total experience.
3. Middle East & Saudi Arabia experience is a plus.
4. Experience in LEED accreditation is a plus.
5. Excellent knowledge of KSA & Middle East Construction Rates, Cost, and Material Prices.
6. Experience in delivering projects using BIM and Revit MEP & Architect.
7. Should be organized and systematic towards work and be able to work independently.

Salary – SAR 23K - 28K
