Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 ans d'expérience en communication, dont 5 en leadership.

About the job



The Head of Communications for the MCO is a strategic leadership role that drives the achievement of the affiliate's business goals through effective communication strategies. This position aligns with global Corporate Affairs goals and local business imperatives. The role is both strategic and operational, overseeing the development and implementation of internal and external communication strategies across the MCO.



KEY RESULTS / ACCOUNTABILITIES



Strategic Leadership



Develop and oversee the implementation of comprehensive communication strategies for the MCO, aligning with global and Key Markets Corporate Affairs and MCO business objectives Act as a key member of the MCO leadership team, providing communications counsel and support to MCO Lead and GBU General Managers Lead the communications team, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement

Internal Communications



Direct the creation and implementation of employee engagement initiatives across the MCO Oversee the management and improvement of internal communications channels Guide the development of high-quality content for internal communications Collaborate with brand teams and business units to raise awareness of key therapeutic areas and business priorities Localize and implement global and Key Markets communication initiatives for the MCO

External Communications



Lead the development and execution of external communication strategies to enhance Sanofi's reputation in the MCO region Oversee media relations, maintaining positive relationships with key media outlets Guide the creation of content for external communications, including press releases, speeches, and social media content Act as the senior spokesperson for the MCO

Stakeholder Management



Build and maintain strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders Collaborate with Global and Key Markets Corporate Affairs teams to ensure alignment and leverage best practices Manage relationships with external partners, including PR, event, and social media agencies

Compliance and Ethics



Ensure all communications activities adhere to Sanofi's Code of Ethics and relevant legal requirements Promote ethical leadership within the communications team and across the MCO Oversee crisis communications preparedness and response for the MCO

About you



This role requires a seasoned communications professional who can elevate the function to a strategic level within the MCO, driving business results through effective communication strategies and leadership.

SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS



Minimum 10 years of experience in communications, with at least 5 years in a leadership role Proven experience in healthcare communications, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry Strong understanding of the MCO region's media landscape and cultural nuances Excellent command of written and spoken English Strategic thinking and ability to translate business objectives into effective communication strategies Outstanding leadership and team management skills Exceptional interpersonal and stakeholder management abilities Crisis management experience Digital communications expertise
