Job Requirements and Responsibilities
  1. Minimum of 3 years of experience in the same field and position.

  4. Ensure nursing care complies with regulatory standards.
  5. Review nursing policies and procedures regularly.
  6. Collaborate with nursing staff and management to coordinate patient care.
  7. Train nursing staff and organize educational programs for patients and families.
  8. Implement quality assurance systems to improve care standards.
  9. Assign and schedule activities for nursing staff effectively.
  10. Supervise the procurement of medical supplies and equipment necessary for patient care.
  11. Coordinate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
  12. Perform administrative and managerial duties.
  13. Oversee the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based care to critically ill newborns.
  14. Develop, implement, and evaluate nursing care plans and protocols.
  15. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
  16. Participate in the development and adoption of new nursing care models and technologies.
  17. Recruit, hire, train, and develop a competent and motivated nursing staff.
  18. Conduct performance evaluations, providing ongoing feedback and coaching.
  19. Create a positive, supportive work environment fostering teamwork and collaboration.
  20. Manage staff schedules and assignments to ensure adequate patient care coverage.
  21. Identify opportunities for improvement in patient care and lead quality initiatives.
  22. Collect and analyze data to monitor quality outcomes and detect trends.
  23. Work with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement evidence-based practices.
  24. Manage daily operations of the NICU, including staffing, budgeting, and resource allocation.
  25. Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and accreditation requirements.
  26. Participate in developing and updating unit policies and procedures.
