Job description

Brief About Dept. :
Building on PRC strategic objectives “Commercial Excellence”; Liquid Product Marketing Department (LPM) aims to establish remarkable impact through its multiple core activities. The Department is divided into two sections: Liquid Marketing Section (LMS) & Sales & Demurrage Section (SDS). LMS's key focus is to continuously drive PRC revenues to be the highest possible while considering market dynamics through adopting its strategic objectives.
Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development of the company's marketing strategy and marketing plan for petrochemical products in the Middle East, ensuring alignment with business objectives, and participate in the marketing committee to approve the marketing plan.
  • Supervise the implementation of the marketing plan, monitor actual costs versus budgets, and take appropriate action to correct any deviation from budget or schedules.
  • Establish brand strategy and organize marketing activities to generate brand awareness in the Middle East.
  • Recommend appropriate policies regarding pricing, promotions, product and market evaluation, and select placement and key messages for advertising and advertorials.
  • Supervise the undertaking of market and industry research to identify, develop, and lead campaigns to get company products properly positioned.
  • Collect information related to sales volume from Market and Sales Sections to develop appropriate allocation plans that can be submitted for the Marketing Committee's approval when required.
Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor of Engineering, or Marketing/Economics/Statistics, or equivalent.
• Minimum of 12 years of experience in marketing in a progressively responsible managerial position, with five years in a refinery or petrochemical environment.
• Strong supervisory, management, and communication skills.
• Working knowledge of marketing techniques in refined & petrochemical products.
• Fluent in English (Reading & Writing).
• Problem-solving skills.
• Organizational skills.
• Data analytics skills, including analyzing price/margins and sales data to draw profound conclusions.
• Computer skills.
• Results-oriented attitude.
