Your key responsibilities:
Business Partnering:
- Partner with Regional head of HR and specialist partners and provide expert and independent advice to senior management regarding people risk and strategy
- Align country HR Strategy and practices with those of the region and global practices
- Use key qualitative and quantitative metrics to inform decisions and HR strategies
- Ensure connectivity and collaboration with HR colleagues, including the Senior Leadership Team, HR product (recruiting, talent development, employee relations) and country teams across DB Group to provide the relevant HR solutions.
- Participate in senior leadership team meetings and OpCo consulting on leadership, structure, diversity and inclusion and talent management
- Managing day-to-day HR operations, governance and risk management, including payroll governance, management of benefits programs, Employee relations and vendor management.
- Managing local country and legal entity governance matters including being point of contact for local control functions.
- Work closely with Compliance, Audit, Employee Relations, Legal, Business Continuity, Corporate Real Estates and IT to implement local regulatory, legislative or organizational changes.
Talent Management, Learning & Development, Culture:
- Drive the year-end performance management process, partnering leaders to identify, develop, and retain high-potential employees.
- Partner with leaders to assess and address learning and development needs, partner with regional/global learning and development function to deliver targeted solutions
- Implement required diversity initiatives as per bank’s culture and requirements.
Governance:
- Work closely with Country Compliance and branch leadership for updates to regulators
- Regulatory reporting is key part of this role.
Your skills and experience:
- KSA national, due to regulatory requirements
- University Graduate
- 8+ years work experience
- Fluency in Arabic and English, both spoken and written. Arabic is the primary language when corresponding with our regulators, as well as all reporting to official bodies from HR.
- KSA labour law knowledge, and knowledge of Saudi Wage Protection System processes
- Extensive HR Business Partner experience including knowledge of HR policies, products, processes
- Experience with a banking organization preferred
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience of working in a complex, multicultural matrix organisation
- Ability to operate independently and objectively to achieve the right people outcome for the franchise
- Preferred banking & finance industry background, with demonstrable business acumen and commercial understanding
- Comfortable with presenting to management groups, with the ability to produce concise presentations, including necessary research and inquiry capabilities
- Ability to partner and manage relationships with new and existing HR vendors and structure contractual agreements accordingly
