An established industry player is seeking a dedicated professional to join their team at a placement level. In this role, you will work closely with client relationship and business development teams to manage Health and Benefits insurance programs. Your responsibilities will include negotiating with insurers, analyzing claims data, and providing strategic advice to improve policy performance. This position is at a placement/broking level. Works alongside the client relationship and business development team in the placement of Health and Benefits insurance programs. Takes ownership of the renewal cycle for all placement activities pertaining to their assigned accounts, ensuring the timely production of quotations, coverage specifications, prepares submissions, presents submissions and negotiates with insurers to secure the best possible terms and coverage that meets the client’s needs. Advises Account Managers and business development teams on which carrier to select and prepares and presents client proposals. Binds cover and quotes. Prepares periodic performance reports based on the analysis of client claims data, and advises Account Managers on problematic areas of policy performance and cost-saving opportunities, within the overall goal of improving the health of the client’s policy and the attractiveness of the client’s risk to insurers.
