About the Role: The Gulfstream G650 Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing and documenting scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, inspections, and repairs on Gulfstream G650 aircraft. The technician will ensure all maintenance activities comply with regulations, OEM specifications, and company policies. This role requires high technical competence, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and quality.
Responsibilities:
- Perform line and major inspections on Gulfstream G650 aircraft.
- Diagnose and conduct troubleshooting, repair, and replacement of aircraft systems including airframe, avionics, engines, hydraulics, and electrical components.
- Complete required maintenance activities and documentation in accordance with regulations, OEM standards and company policies.
- Use Gulfstream AMM, IPC, and troubleshooting manuals for maintenance procedures.
- Maintain and update aircraft maintenance tracking systems (e.g., CAMP, SAP).
- Perform scheduled inspections such as phase checks, pre/post-flight checks, and service bulletins.
- Respond to aircraft AOG (Aircraft on Ground) situations, including travel to remote locations when necessary.
- Ensure work is performed safely and on timely manner.
- Comply with all regulatory and safety policies.
- Maintain proper tooling and work environment cleanliness.
- Interface professionally with pilots, dispatch, maintenance personnel and vendors.
Qualifications:
- Valid GACA or FAA A&P Certificate (or equivalent like EASA certificate).
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in corporate or business jet maintenance.
- Gulfstream G650 experience.
- Familiarity with Rolls Royce engine systems.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to interpret complex technical manuals.
- Proficiency in using special tools, diagnostic equipment’s and ground support equipment (GSE).
- Proficient with maintenance tracking software.
- OEM or factory training on Bombardier aircraft is a plus.
Required Skills:
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent attention to detail and time management.
- Good English verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering and schematic drawings.
Preferred Skills:
- Gulfstream G650 factory training.
- Experience with 145 repair station.
- Inspection Authorization (IA) certification.
- Familiarity with Safety Management Systems (SMS).
