Job Description
As the Group Treasury Manager, you will be assisting the Group Treasurer in overseeing all aspects of treasury functions, including banking relationships management, credit facilities management, cash management, liquidity planning, risk management, and financial analysis.
Other responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Coordinate with banks and financial institutions to establish and maintain banking relationships, negotiate terms of funded and non-cash credit facilities on bilateral and syndicated basis, and manage banking services.
Develop and implement cash management strategies to optimise liquidity and maximise returns on excess cash.
Monitor and manage the company's cash flow, ensuring adequate funds are available to meet ongoing operational and capital investment needs.
Evaluate and mitigate financial risks, including interest rate risk, foreign exchange risk, and credit risk, through hedging and other risk management techniques.
Advise and liaise with Group Companies to satisfactorily address their financing requirements.
Prepare and present financial reports, budgets, forecasts, and analyses to senior management, highlighting key treasury metrics and providing insights for decision-making.
Manage the company's investment portfolio, including short-term investments and long-term strategic investments, in line with the company's risk appetite and investment policies.
Oversee the administration of debt and financing arrangements, including loans, and other debt instruments, and ensure compliance with debt covenants and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including finance, accounting, legal, and tax departments, to support strategic initiatives and ensure alignment with group objectives.
Stay informed about developments in financial markets, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices, and proactively identify opportunities to enhance treasury operations and drive efficiency.
Lead or participate in special projects as assigned, such as mergers and acquisitions, capital structure optimisation, or treasury system implementations.
Ensure adequate internal controls and staffing of centralised group treasury function.
Advise the Group Treasurer on all treasury matters and deputise in their absence.
Requirements:
Must have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
10+ years of experience in corporate treasury and banking with progressive responsibility, including negotiation of bilateral and syndicated credit facilities.
Fluency in Arabic and English is essential.
Strong understanding of financial markets, instruments, and risk management techniques.
Good attention to detail and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
