Group HSE Manager

Health

• Design and implement a comprehensive occupational health and wellness strategy aligned with business needs and regulations.
• Ensure compliance with occupational health laws and industry-specific health standards.
• Oversee medical surveillance programs, annual medical check-ups for hazardous area working employees (e.g., noise, chemicals, etc.).
• Train personnel about occupational health topics including first aid, CPR, and handling of medical emergencies.
• Lead investigations into workplace illnesses or health-related incidents and implement corrective actions to mitigate future occurrences.
• Manage policies related to infectious disease prevention, vaccinations, and workplace hygiene.

Safety

• Design and implement a comprehensive safety management system aligned with business goals, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
• Set organizational safety goals, metrics, and long-term improvement plans.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations. Conduct internal safety audits and coordinate external safety audits.
• Lead risk assessments, hazard identification, and mitigation strategies to reduce workplace incidents and liability.
• Establish and update safety policies, procedures, and standards based on changing regulations and operational needs.
• Lead investigations into accidents, near misses, safety breaches and drive root cause analysis and oversee corrective/preventive actions to prevent recurrence.
• Champion a culture of safety across all levels of the organization and provide training programs for employees and contractors to promote awareness and compliance.
• Develop and lead emergency response plans and drills.

Environment

• Develop and implement an integrated environmental strategy aligned with corporate sustainability goals and ESG framework.
• Ensure full compliance with environmental laws and regulations.
• Oversee licensing, and environmental reporting obligations.
• Establish programs to reduce, reuse, and recycle waste generated from manufacturing processes.
• Monitor and control air emissions, wastewater discharge, and hazardous material handling to prevent environmental pollution.
• Develop climate risk assessments and action plans to improve long-term resilience.
• Collaborate with internal teams, regulatory authorities, and community groups on environmental initiatives.

Fire

• Develop and lead the implementation of comprehensive fire prevention and protection strategies across all business units.
• Ensure full compliance with fire safety regulations and industry standards and conduct regular fire hazard assessments across all sites.
• Identify high-risk zones (e.g., flammable material storage, electrical rooms etc.) and implement mitigation strategies accordingly.
• Oversee the design, installation, maintenance, and regular testing of fire protection systems (sprinklers, alarms, extinguishers, suppression systems etc.).
• Ensure emergency systems (e.g., exits, signage, smoke control) are always operational and compliant.
• Lead the execution of fire drills, emergency evacuation simulations, and crisis response training.

Security

• Create and execute a comprehensive security strategy aligned with the company's risk management framework.
• Identify vulnerabilities and establish plans to protect critical assets, infrastructure, and personnel.
• Ensure robust perimeter protection, access control systems, surveillance (CCTV), and lighting are in place and operational.
• Lead the response to security incidents, breaches, or theft and conduct detailed investigations, root cause analyses, and coordinate with law enforcement if necessary.
• Monitor entry/exit logs for visitors, contractors and conduct random security checks.
• Evaluate and manage security technologies such as surveillance cameras, biometric access, alarms, and remote monitoring systems.
• Ensure compliance with security regulations, labor laws, and corporate ethical standards.
• Train security personnel in standard operating procedures and emergency response.

Skills

Preferably 7–10 years work experience in a similar role (industrial or manufacturing sectors).
