Job summary

Aggreko is seeking a Graduate Technician Trainee in Jeddah for a 12-month program focused on mechanical and electrical systems in power generation. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience through a development program, working at depots and on-site in various projects across Saudi Arabia. Ideal candidates are Saudi Nationals with an engineering degree and technical knowledge in power generation.

Across the Saudi Arabia, we electrify events from the Formula 1 in Jeddah to the Sound storm Festival in Riyadh. We're also support our customers across the Kingdom with a variety of complex project including providing power and cooling for the development of the Red Sea development project and supplying cooling and back up power for customer’s refineries.

Our graduate technician trainee programme

As a graduate trainee technician, you’ll primarily focus on mechanical & electrical systems within generators, and related power equipment.

You’ll join a comprehensive 12-month development programme, based in either our Riyadh or Jeddah depots and will gain hands-on experience in maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of power generators and related equipment, working both within the Aggreko depot and on-site across Saudi Arabia.

At the end of the programme, you’ll be confident in the mechanical & electrical maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of power generators and other equipment, and ready to move into a technician role in within Saudi Arabia.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferred)

  • Some technical knowledge or experience in mechanical or electrical – ideally power generation

  • Passionate about mechanical or electrical engineering

  • Highly motivated with a positive attitude to work

  • Possession of valid driving license

  • Business level English

  • Saudi National only
