Purpose

As a Sales Manager focusing on the Government Segment, you will manage and drive revenue growth within the government and royal affairs market segments. Your responsibilities include sales coordination, strengthening client relationships, and ensuring seamless execution of sales activities.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with government and royal clients, serving as the main contact for key accounts.
  • Manage all sales activities related to the Government & Royal Affairs segment, including inquiries, negotiations, proposals, and closing deals.
  • Coordinate with internal departments (catering, reservations, front office) to ensure flawless execution of bookings, VIP visits, and events.
  • Supervise and mentor the Sales Coordinator, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
  • Create and analyze sales reports and forecasts to support planning and revenue targets.
  • Attend sales meetings, trade shows, and networking events to promote the hotel’s government and royal business.
  • Maintain organized client files, ensuring compliance with documentation standards.
  • Follow up on amenities, reservations, and special requests to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Work with the Director of Sales to develop marketing strategies and campaigns for the segment.
  • Demonstrate flexibility in work hours to meet business and client needs.
  • Ensure high service standards and guest satisfaction throughout the sales process.
  • Stay informed about hotel promotions, services, and events relevant to the government market.
  • Handle purchase orders, supplies, and collateral according to company procedures.
  • Maintain a clean and professional office environment.
  • Respond promptly to emergency or safety situations.
