Job Purpose
To act as APSCO’s representative before government authorities and ensure the efficient and compliant handling of all government transactions and regulatory obligations
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and process all government transactions including licenses, permits, commercial registrations, social insurance, labor office matters, civil defense, municipalities, and others.
- Liaise with relevant government agencies to facilitate approvals, renewals, and documentation.
- Oversee the company’s government online portals
- Strength partnerships with all levels of government; national, county & communities.
- Add value to business by ensuring compliance of company processes to government laws and regulations, ensuring timely submissions and approvals for new work permits as well as maintenance of registered licenses in alignment with local regulations and corporate policies
- Liaise with the Regulatory Authorities so as to provide appropriate answers to the management on matters relating to Regulatory approvals/queries
- Monitor and keep in touch with changes in the regulatory environment
- Work with other departments to understand their government–related challenges so as to formulate a cohesive, comprehensive government operations strategy
- Issue employee’s residence permits and process annual renewals.
- Issue employment contracts of all types including electronic government templates
- Maintain updated database of employees / leavers / Tamheer and Trainees and update on regular basis, prepare monthly reports to the management.
- Process new employees visa sponsorship transfer, travel re-entry permissions business trips and holidays, final exit permissions for leavers, passports renewals update with Immigration
- Issue commercial visit visas for visitors, process work visit visas applications
- GOSI employees’ enrolment / leavers and salaries updates
- Attend all court hearings and represent apsco for all legal issues
Qualifications
Education: * Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Law, Public Relations, or related field.
Experience
- 2–3 years of proven experience in government relations or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Saudi Arabian government regulations and procedures.
- Background in Manufacturing / Energy Industries
