Qualifications

Job description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented GIS Specialist to support a large-scale Operation and Maintenance project. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and experience working within engineering consultancy environments.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, manage, and maintain geospatial databases to support O&M activities.
• Analyze spatial data and generate maps, reports, and visualizations.
• Integrate GIS with asset management and maintenance systems.
• Support field data collection using GPS and mobile GIS tools.
• Collaborate with engineers and technical teams to ensure data accuracy and project alignment.
• Perform quality control and data validation of GIS layers and attributes.
• Provide GIS technical support and training as needed.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Geography, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in GIS, preferably within consultancy firms or infrastructure-related projects.
• Proficiency in GIS software (e.g., ArcGIS, QGIS) and geospatial data management tools.
• Experience working on Operation and Maintenance (O&M) projects is a strong advantage.
• Knowledge of spatial analysis, remote sensing, and GPS/GNSS technologies.
• Strong communication and reporting skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams.
