Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a highly experienced GIS Specialist to develop, manage, and analyze geospatial data for bridges and infrastructure projects. You will build GIS datasets, ensure data integrity, and support design, survey, and construction teams with spatial analysis and visualization.

The role requires 12+ years in GIS, strong collaboration across disciplines, and experience integrating GIS with CAD/BIM environments.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in GIS, Geomatics, Geography, Surveying, Geospatial Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related discipline.
Master's degree in GIS, Geomatics, or Spatial Sciences is advantageous.
Professional GIS certifications such as Esri Technical Certification are preferred.

Responsibilities

Develop, manage, and maintain GIS databases and datasets for bridge and infrastructure projects.
Produce detailed thematic maps, route alignment maps, and infrastructure visualizations.
Analyze spatial relationships and generate GIS reports, dashboards, and maps for stakeholders.
Integrate GIS data with CAD/BIM environments to support project delivery.
Track GIS data through construction and asset management lifecycles.
Develop GIS tools, dashboards, and digital solutions for project reporting.
