Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced GIS Business Analyst with over six years of expertise to join our team. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between business needs and geospatial solutions, ensuring the successful implementation of GIS strategies and tools to support organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements for GIS-related projects.
• Design and recommend geospatial solutions to address business challenges.
• Develop and maintain GIS workflows, databases, and analytical tools.
• Conduct spatial data analysis and produce maps, reports, and visualizations to support decision-making.
• Manage GIS project lifecycles, including planning, development, testing, and deployment.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and compliance with organizational standards.
• Provide technical support and training to users on GIS tools and applications.
• Monitor emerging GIS trends and technologies to recommend innovative solutions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in GIS, Geography, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 6+ years of experience in GIS analysis, development, or business consulting.
• Proficiency in GIS software (e.g., ArcGIS, QGIS) and spatial database management.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Python, SQL) and geospatial data formats.
• Experience with enterprise GIS platforms and integration with other business systems is a plus.
