1sTech one of Master works subsidiaries is GIS & AI Presales Specialist who bridges the gap between technical capabilities and client needs, acting as a trusted advisor during the sales cycle. This role combines geospatial expertise, AI solution knowledge, and business acumen to design, present, and position tailored solutions that address customer challenges and drive adoption of the company’s technology offerings.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Client Engagement & Discovery: Collaborate with account managers to understand customer objectives, challenges, and technical requirements; act as a trusted advisor to customers, actively shaping and recommending tailored solutions architecture that solve key business challenges; conduct requirement-gathering sessions to map business problems to GIS and AI solutions; demonstrate thought leadership in both geospatial and AI domains; create case studies, pitch decks, and competitive analyses.
- Solution Design: Engage with clients for solution presentations, demos, and workshops; develop tailored solution architectures leveraging GIS platforms, AI models, and relevant data pipelines; integrate geospatial analytics, AI-driven insights, and industry-specific workflows into proposed solutions; prepare proof-of-concept (POC) demonstrations and prototypes.
- Technical Demonstrations: Deliver engaging, value-focused presentations and live demos to technical and non-technical audiences; showcase real-world use cases across industries (e.g., urban planning, agriculture, utilities, transportation, environmental monitoring).
- Proposal Development: Manage the complete bid lifecycle from RFI/RFP response to pricing and proposal submission; provide detailed solution descriptions, system architectures, and integration strategies; highlight competitive differentiators and value propositions.
- Market Awareness: Stay informed about emerging GIS trends, AI/ML advancements, and competitor offerings; identify opportunities for innovation and solution differentiation.
Minimum Requirements
- Technical Expertise: GIS platforms (ArcGIS, QGIS, Google Earth Engine, etc.); AI/ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn); data integration & ETL tools, spatial databases, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Business & Communication Skills: Strong storytelling ability to translate technical capabilities into business value; persuasive presentation and negotiation skills; ability to simplify complex solutions for diverse audiences.
- Domain Knowledge: Spatial analytics, remote sensing, geospatial data visualization; AI applications such as predictive modeling, image classification, anomaly detection, and NLP in geospatial contexts.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Geomatics, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 7+ years of professional experience in GIS, AI, data analytics, or related technical domains.
Performance Indicators
- Successful delivery of POCs and demos leads to deal closure.
- Positive client feedback on solution relevance and presentation quality.
- Increase in win rate for GIS & AI-related opportunities.
