An esteemed company in Saudi Arabia seeks a Generator Technician to perform maintenance, overhauling, and servicing on turbo-generators ranging from 50 MW to 700 MW. The role demands extensive experience in generator repairs and rewinding, along with strong technical skills, teamwork, and effective communication abilities.

Qualifications

• 8 years of experience as Generator Technician, with participation in at least 3 generator overhauls.
• Preferable minimum one-time experience in generator rewinding (Stator or Rotor).
• Capability to read drawings and follow manual procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform standard service on units under supervision of the assigned engineer.
• Inspect RTD's, perform generator inspection and overhaul, and handle rewinding of generator rotors.

Job Summary:

Perform, Maintaining, Overhauling, Repairing, Generator Rewinding and Servicing for range of well-known Turbo-generators with units generating 50MW to 700 MW (Gas or Steam units).

Main Duties:

• Perform standard service on units as per O&M under supervision of the assigned Engineer.
• Assist in preparing generators for shipment as needed.
• Well known of performing Generator stator/rotor of electrical and mechanical tests.
• Inspection of RTD’s and replacement.
• Assist with other duties as required belong to any type of Generator.
• Performing Generator stator & Rotor onsite or workshop inspection and overhaul.
• Rewinding of Generator Rotors at site or workshop.
• Full or partial rewinding of Generator (Rotor/ Stator).
• Has a good experience in Generator repair and rewinding with high experience in MV Motors Rewinding and overhauling.

Skills

• Diploma in electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• 8 years’ experience as Generator Technician. participated at least 3 times Generator Overhaul and Preferable min one time Generator rewinding (Stator or Rotor).
• Computer skills.
• Good in English Language.
• Good communication skills.
• Has a capability to read drawing and follow up manual procedures.
• Reporting skills is mandatory.
