Position: General Technician (Kitchen & Laundry)

As a Kitchen & Laundry Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient execution of all tasks, including:

• Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair kitchen and laundry equipment, including cold rooms.
• Recycle and charge refrigerants as required. Inspect and test refrigeration systems, safety devices, and controls for efficiency and safety compliance.
• Understand and follow blueprints or building plans.
• Ensure proper inventory and storage of kitchen & laundry tools, equipment, and materials.
• Prepare and perform daily and weekly routine cleaning of all laundry and kitchen equipment.
• Respond promptly to emergency repair requests to minimize disruptions.
• Collaborate with other departments to support maintenance and renovation projects.
• Repair or replace condensers, compressors, pumps, valves, motors, bearings, belts, and other parts.
• Complete kitchen & laundry orders promptly and accurately.
• Perform routine and preventive maintenance as scheduled.
• Deliver high-quality kitchen & laundry work consistently.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and wear personal protective equipment while on duty.
• Accurately complete and submit work slips or online work logs at the end of each shift.
• Keep the workspace clean and organized.
• Uphold InterContinental's guidelines and service standards, aiming to meet or exceed performance expectations.
• Follow safety procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
