Position: General Technician (HVAC & Cold Rooms)

As a HVAC & Cold Rooms technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient execution of all tasks, including:

• Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair heating/refrigeration and air-conditioning systems, AHU, FCU, air compressors, and all auxiliary equipment.
• Recycle and charge refrigerants as required. Inspect and test refrigeration systems, safety devices, and controls for efficiency and safety compliance.
• Manage inventory and proper storage of HVAC and Cold Room tools, equipment, and materials.
• Respond promptly to emergency repair requests to minimize disruptions.
• Collaborate with other departments to support maintenance and renovation projects.
• Repair or replace condensers, compressors, pumps, valves, motors, bearings, belts, and other parts.
• Install, repair, and maintain major heating/refrigeration and air-conditioning units, coils, fans, subsystems, and components; perform welding and soldering as needed.
• Understand and follow blueprints or building plans.
• Complete work orders accurately and promptly.
• Perform routine and preventive maintenance as scheduled.
• Deliver high-quality HVAC and Cold Room work consistently.
• Follow all safety protocols and wear PPE while on duty.
• Accurately complete and submit work slips or online logs at the end of each shift.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Uphold InterContinental's service standards, meeting or exceeding performance expectations.
• Follow safety procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
