General Technician (HVAC & Cold Rooms)

As an HVAC & Cold Rooms technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient execution of all tasks, including:

• Inspecting, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing heating/refrigeration and air-conditioning systems, AHU, FCU, air compressors, and all auxiliary equipment.
• Recycling and charging refrigerants as required. Inspecting and testing refrigeration systems, safety devices, and controls for efficiency and safety compliance.
• Ensuring proper inventory and storage of HVAC and Cold Room tools, equipment, and materials.
• Responding promptly to emergency repair requests to minimize disruptions.
• Collaborating with other departments to support maintenance and renovation projects.
• Repairing or replacing condensers, compressors, pumps, valves, motors, bearings, belts, and other parts.
• Installing, repairing, and maintaining major heating/refrigeration and air-conditioning units, coils, fans, subsystems, and components; performing welding and soldering as needed.
• Understanding and following blueprints or building plans.
• Completing HVAC and Cold Rooms work orders promptly and accurately.
• Performing routine and preventive maintenance as scheduled.
• Consistently delivering high-quality HVAC and Cold Rooms work.
• Adhering to all safety protocols and wearing personal protective equipment while on duty.
• Accurately completing and submitting work slips and request forms at the end of each shift.
• Keeping the workspace clean and organized.
• Upholding InterContinental’s guidelines and service standards, meeting or exceeding performance expectations.
• Following safety procedures and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries.
