Job description

Linum Consult’s client is a major aggregates company. They are currently seeking a General Manager to oversee all the P&L activities and Business Development in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Managing the profit and loss of the company
  • Developing and planning yearly budgets and relevant forecasts on sound economic and market factors and ensuring such factors are met by the most cost-effective means
  • Setting up the invoicing servicing in coordination with the finance department
  • Ensuring quality levels and standardising the delivery of products, materials and services to clients
  • Maintaining and developing relationships with strategic accounts and business partners
  • Aiding the Business Development team by using existing contacts and creating new business opportunities
  • Assisting the credit control team in the chasing of late payments
  • Remaining abreast of market conditions/trends and directing action towards capitalising on prevailing opportunities and implementing adequate actions to combat threats

PROFILE

  • At least 8 years’ experience within the aggregates industry, working for PMCs or main contractors
  • Degree qualification in Business Management or related field
  • Demonstrable history of managing profit and loss activities, business development, and financial services
  • Excellent planning and budgetary skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
  • Fluency in spoken and written English
