A leading sustainability firm is seeking an experienced professional to lead the strategic direction of social responsibility and sustainability. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years in the field, with significant experience in leadership roles, and be fluent in both Arabic and English. This role involves developing comprehensive ESG strategies, implementing governance frameworks, and engaging with key stakeholders to promote sustainable initiatives.
Leading the strategic direction of social responsibility, sustainability, and corporate governance by developing and implementing an integrated framework that integrates environmental and social governance (ESG) considerations into decision-making processes, achieving a sustainable impact on society, enhancing long-term corporate value, raising compliance with national and international standards, and reflecting the company's commitment to its developmental and leadership role in the sector.
Main Responsibilities and Duties
Strategic Planning and Direction
Lead and develop the ESG and sustainability strategy in line with global best practices and regulatory requirements.
Ensure integration of ESG principles into company operations, policies, and practices in alignment with national frameworks such as Saudi Vision 2030.
Governance, Reporting, and Accountability
Implement sustainability programs within a governance and transparency framework.
Prepare ESG reports in accordance with international standards such as GRI, SASB, and TCFD.
Measure impact and provide results that are traceable and verifiable.
Leadership and Promotion of Culture
Lead cross-functional teams towards achieving sustainability objectives.
Promote a motivational culture that encourages sustainability and responsibility at all levels of the company.
Stakeholder Engagement and Representation
Design and implement community development programs that create measurable social impact, targeting the public and private sector.
Represent the company before governmental entities and international organizations.
Build effective partnerships that support national sustainable development agendas.
Risk Management
Conduct risk and opportunities assessment. And provide strategic recommendations to senior management on ESG frameworks.
Strengthen the company’s ability to adapt to environmental, social, and regulatory changes.
Evaluation and Resource Management
Supervise the preparation of indicators and initiatives related to environmental and social responsibility, ensuring its efficiency and effectiveness.
Use tools such as Social Return on Investment (SROI) and stakeholder analysis to measure and improve performance.
