We are excited to announce an opportunity for a dynamic General Manager in the Industrial Sector for our client in Jeddah. In this pivotal role, you will have the chance to shape the sector's strategic direction while driving its performance to new heights. Your leadership will be crucial in optimizing the use of assets and resources, ensuring that the goals for growth and profitability set by the Board of Directors are met and exceeded. Major Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Empower the Management Team: Offer insightful advice, clear direction, and necessary authorization to help the Management Team navigate major plans and procedures, ensuring alignment with our established policies.
  2. Strategic Performance Reviews: Regularly assess our sector's performance to ensure we are on track to meet short- and long-term goals whether boosting profits, gaining market share, or maximizing return on investment.
  3. Collaborative Business Planning: Work with the Management Team to create a dynamic, integrated business plan that enhances market share and profitability for existing and new ventures.
  4. Goal Setting and Monitoring: Define ambitious yet achievable high-level goals and objectives for departments, actively collaborating to ensure we hit those targets while closely monitoring operations.
  5. Performance Analysis: Consistently review operating results, compare them to established benchmarks, and take proactive measures to address any areas that need improvement.
  6. Optimize Supply Chain Efficiency: Periodically evaluate the effectiveness of the Supply Chain, seeking opportunities to harness economies of scale and boost overall efficiency.
  7. Smooth Operations Oversight: Diligently monitor operations to swiftly tackle any obstacles that may disrupt the seamless functioning of the factories.
  8. Commitment to Quality: Ensure that all processes strictly adhere to the relevant industry quality standards, fostering a culture of excellence.
  9. Invest in Innovation: Back R&D initiatives that show potential for substantial returns, dedicating resources to drive innovation and growth.
  10. Champion Business Development: Act as a representative for the sector and companies, engaging in initiatives that promote growth and foster strong business relationships.
  11. Sales Excellence Monitoring: Keep a close eye on the sales process, ensuring our personnel deliver exceptional client satisfaction at every step.
  12. Guide Project Success: Mentor project managers to ensure projects are completed on budget, meet quality standards, and adhere to timelines.
  13. Facilitate Seamless Transactions: Ensure smooth and efficient interactions between the Head Office and sector-level support functions.
  14. Strategic Leadership: Provide inspiring leadership and guidance to all tiers of management, fostering a collaborative and thriving work environment.
  15. Leverage Professional Networks: Utilize professional contacts to drive business development opportunities for our sector and companies.
  16. Corporate Performance Management: Monitor overall performance and implement corrective actions whenever necessary to keep us on the right path.
  17. Empower Through Delegation: Delegate responsibilities to competent executives to ensure the sector or company's operations run smoothly.
  18. Annual Performance Reviews: Conduct thorough annual performance appraisals for all executives, recommending salary adjustments, awards, and promotions where warranted.
  19. Uphold Group Standards: Monitor employee adherence to the Group's guidelines, policies, and procedures, reinforcing our commitment to integrity and excellence.
  20. Recruit and Inspire Talent: Seek out, cultivate, and motivate top executives and employees who report directly to you, fostering a culture of growth and success.

Qualifications and Experience

A minimum of:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration (MBA is preferred) or equivalent experience with a minimum of 15 years of related experience.
  2. Extensive executive-level management experience (6+ years).
  3. Industrial / Manufacturing experience is a must.
  4. Strong visionary with proven leadership qualities and an entrepreneurial mindset.
  5. Political awareness, professional expertise, financial orientation, self-starting initiative, cross-cultural awareness, organizational astuteness, and team spirit.
  6. Ability to select, develop, and motivate necessary management talent to maintain the sector's overall objectives.
  7. Strong interpersonal skills such as leadership, communication, persuasion, motivation, loyalty, and openness.
  8. Must be a professional of unquestionable integrity, credibility, and character.
  9. Proficiency in both English and Arabic.
