This role is responsible for providing the strategic and operational leadership for Rackspace in Saudi Arabia. The General Manager will be responsible for growing Rackspace’s presence and reputation in the Kingdom by driving business development, brand positioning, market strategy, and the delivery of exceptional services across public and private sector customers.
We are seeking a candidate with deep regional knowledge, strong commercial acumen, and an established network across Saudi Arabia’s government ministries, private sector organisations, and state driven initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Define and execute Rackspace’s strategy for Saudi Arabia in alignment with overall international objectives.
- Build brand presence and grow market share through strategic marketing and business development initiatives.
- Develop and own relationships with high-level stakeholders including government entities, state led projects, and major corporate customers.
- Lead and manage cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
- Oversee country operations, including budget, sales quota, P&L, compliance, and workforce planning.
- Direct customer engagement strategies, including pre-sales, delivery, and long-term relationship management.
- Promote a high-performance culture, ensuring talent development, succession planning, and employee engagement.
- Ensure regulatory compliance and effective stakeholder communications with government authorities and external partners.
- Government & Ecosystem Engagement: Serve as a senior representative in fostering strategic relationships with government ministries, regulatory authorities, and national programs supporting the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 agenda.

Qualifications & Experience- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field; MBA strongly preferred.
- 12–15 years of progressive experience in business leadership, preferably in technology or professional services.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in people leadership.
- Experience in Cloud transformation, Infrastructure, Services, AI, ML and Data
- Proven experience leading operations in Saudi Arabia or the wider Gulf region.
- Fluency in Arabic and English.
- Well-connected in the region with a history of influencing and delivering major strategic outcomes.
