Job description

Role Summary
As a Financial Analyst at Flowserve, you will play a key role in analyzing financial data to support business decision-making. You will be responsible for evaluating project costs, margins, and operational efficiency while maintaining compliance with accounting standards. Your insights will guide strategic planning and contribute to the overall financial health of the organization.

Key Responsibilities
Conduct detailed cost and margin analysis, including project costing, direct charges, and inventory evaluations.

Review and report accurate net backlog values monthly, ensuring alignment with financial targets.

Perform monthly reconciliations of the balance sheet and profit & loss (P&L) statements in accordance with US GAAP and local GAAP.

Ensure compliance with SOX regulations and Flowserve’s Group Accounting Policies.

Support internal and external audits by maintaining proper documentation and financial integrity.

Assist in the preparation of statutory accounts and annual financial statements.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

3–5 years of relevant experience, ideally within the manufacturing industry.

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions (e.g., PivotTables, VLOOKUP).

Working knowledge of IFRS or US GAAP, and SOX compliance standards.

Experience using ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP) and consolidated reporting platforms.

Familiarity with Microsoft Access is a plus.

Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.

Effective communication and collaboration skills across teams and departments.
