Each of the resort's 210 sea-facing rooms provides immediate beach access, allowing guests to step out onto the sands of the Red Sea from the terrace. Your Day-to-Day:
  1. Reconcile the house fund daily, ensuring accuracy and maintaining a clean, organized safe environment.
  2. Open the Front Office safe depository each morning in the presence of a designated Finance team member and the Front Office or Night Manager. Retrieve and verify all deposit envelopes against the deposit log.
  3. Immediately report any missing envelopes to the Director of Finance or Financial Controller.
  4. Review the contents of each envelope, cross-checking every item against the attached list. Record any discrepancies in the over/short column of the deposit sheet.
  5. Promptly escalate any variances to the Income Auditor and Director of Finance / Financial Controller for further investigation.
  6. Coordinate with the money exchange provider to convert all foreign currency into local currency in a timely and accurate manner.
Education & Experience:
  • Diploma or bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum 12 years of experience in a cashiering, income audit, or general finance role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
