This role involves maintaining financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. The General Accountant will play a crucial role in supporting our financial operations and contributing to the overall success of our agency.

Responsibilities
  1. Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable and receivable.
  2. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with local regulations and accounting standards.
  3. Ensure accurate and timely processing of financial transactions and maintain the general ledger.
  4. Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
  5. Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, providing insights into financial performance.
  6. Collaborate with other departments to support financial planning and decision-making processes.
  7. Monitor cash flow and provide recommendations for improving financial efficiency.
  8. Prepare tax returns and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
  9. Assist in the implementation of new accounting software and systems to improve efficiency.
