Job Description

Role Overview:
The Fund Manager is responsible for designing and executing investment strategies across multiple portfolios while ensuring compliance with the CMA framework and Shariah guidelines. This includes overseeing asset allocation, risk management, performance tracking, and communication with stakeholders.

Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
Reports to: Head of Asset Management
Key Responsibilities:

1. Manage public and private market portfolios including sukuks, equities, REITs, and structured instruments.
2. Develop and implement fund strategies aligned with clients' investment objectives and risk appetite.
3. Conduct deep fundamental and quantitative research to identify suitable investment opportunities.
4. Rebalance portfolios in response to macroeconomic shifts or market volatility.
5. Collaborate with Shariah advisors to validate compliance of portfolio assets.
6. Monitor NAV performance and generate portfolio performance reports and analytics.
7. Participate in client meetings to discuss investment performance, strategies, and economic outlooks.
8. Develop and launch new fund products including documentation, regulatory filings, and investor presentations.
9. Oversee relationships with brokers, fund administrators, custodians, and auditors.
10. Ensure all fund operations and decisions meet CMA and internal compliance requirements.
11. Contribute to market thought leadership and publish research as required.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, or related field; CFA certification preferred.
2. Holder of CMA-4 license.
3. Minimum of 7 years experience in asset management, portfolio management, or fund advisory.
4. Prior experience managing Shariah-compliant funds is highly desirable.
5. In-depth knowledge of capital markets, financial modeling, and portfolio construction.

Preferred Skills:

1. High-level analytical thinking and strategic decision-making.
2. Advanced knowledge of Bloomberg, Excel, and risk analytics tools.
3. Excellent presentation and report-writing abilities.
4. Strong stakeholder management and team leadership skills.

Work Conditions:

1. Full-time, based in Riyadh.
2. Occasional travel for investor presentations, board meetings, or conferences.
3. May involve extended hours during earnings cycles, product launches, or NAV closures.
