Job Summary

To be responsible for the delivery of services to guests within Front Office areas in a friendly and courteous manner. Performs efficiently, courteously, and professionally, always maintains a high standard of service and hospitality and provides guest services, handles the setup of daily reservations and check-in and check out guests.

Responsibilities
  • To have knowledge of the operational systems at Front Office.
  • To have knowledge of Shangri-La's standard operating policies and procedures.
  • Be well versed with the daily arrival and the type of arrival guests (e.g., Return guest, Shangri-La Circle, VIP).
  • Ensures all amenities are in room prior to guest arrival.
  • Assists in solving guest problems and concerns, always takes the opportunity to exceed Guest expectations.
  • Responds to all inquiries regarding hotel facilities and room features.
  • Provides courteous service and responds promptly to guest requests and complaints.
  • Processes all guest registrations promptly and efficiently.
  • Stays up to date on room rates, package discounts with the coordination of other concerned departments.
What we are Looking For
  • At least 1 year working experience in hotel
  • Ability to work long hours and shift
  • Communicates and writes with fluency in English (as well as the Arabic language)
  • Pleasant, friendly, and cheerful attitude
