# Front Desk Manager

Job Description

We are currently seeking passionate and dynamic guest-focused Front Office professionals who pride themselves on delivering extraordinary customer service and providing creative solutions to our guests.

As a Front Desk Manager, you will be responsible for the operations of the Front Office, with a primary focus on the overall operation at Reception. This includes ensuring end-of-day procedures and reports are completed accurately and efficiently. Your key responsibilities will include:

  1. Actively eliciting guest feedback and preferences regarding hotel services and initiating actions to maximize guest satisfaction.
  2. Ensuring maximum room revenue through up-selling within stipulated guidelines, optimizing room inventory sales, and controlling room availability during high occupancy periods.
  3. Promoting and selling the company's loyalty program, Food & Beverage events, in-house facilities, and hotel/company partners.
  4. Ensuring all accounting and auditing practices comply with company policies and governmental requirements, and verifying audits and registration cards before forwarding to accounts.
  5. Leading and coaching the team to achieve high levels of guest service and colleague satisfaction, adhering to corporate and property standards and policies.
Skills

Education, Qualifications & Experiences

Ideally, you should have a degree in hospitality with previous experience in the Front Office Department within a hotel. Fluency in both written and spoken English, an immaculate personal presentation, and effective problem-solving skills are required. Knowledge of Opera and computer literacy will be highly regarded.

The ideal candidate will be skilled in up-selling and revenue maximization techniques, service-oriented, and passionate about exceeding guest expectations.
