Job description

AUD 30 - 45 per hour, $34.46 / Hour + Penalties

Maxima has been engaged to recruit a Freight Handler to work at our highly regarded client located at the Adelaide Airport.

About the Role

This is an ongoing casual position, working on a 24/7 roster with varying hours and start times. A forklift license and stores experience are key requirements for the role as it can be a busy and changing environment, so situational awareness is also a requirement. Operators with good situational awareness will be working in a team environment, delivering a range of services for corporate and public customers alike. Loading and unloading planes, receiving goods as well as releasing freight to customers.

Key Requirements

• A current high-risk forklift license (see above)
• A current National Police Clearance (or ability to attain)
• Pass a full medical including Drug and Alcohol testing.
• Physically fit for manual duties (lifting capacity 25kg)
