Job description

Job Responsibilities:

1. Portfolios to be managed
2. Transmission Line - Foundation Design
3. Exp – +8 to 14 Years || Civil Engineer - Graduate
4. Prepare the Technical Abstract.
5. Prepare technical queries.
6. Prepare foundation design calculations as per the latest SEC-approved methodology and the most optimised ones (compared to tender volumes).
7. Develop the Foundation design and drawings required in the tender submission.
8. The foundation types Pad and chimney and Rock Anchor (but not limited to). The design codes shall be in accordance with the provided specifications (PTS).
9. Prepare Foundation Design calculations in Mathcad and Excel spreadsheet.
10. The foundation construction drawings in accordance with SEC standards and with required data like notes, summary, pit marking etc.
11. The foundation design and drawings for Uplift test foundations.
12. Reply to the comments received from client.
13. Coordinate with site at the time of project execution and commissioning.
14. Prepare as built drawing (Civil) after commissioning of the Line.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design and Analysis:
2. Select appropriate foundation types (e.g., piles, shallow foundations) based on site conditions and structural requirements.
3. Perform geotechnical data analysis (soil investigations, groundwater levels, etc.).
4. Calculate pile capacity, settlement, and other design parameters.
5. Prepare technical drawings and specifications for foundation construction.
6. Utilize software like PLAXIS 2D for settlement analysis.

Construction Supervision:

1. Oversee the installation of piles and other foundation elements.
2. Monitor site safety and ensure compliance with regulations.
3. Collaborate with contractors and site managers to address technical issues.
4. Prepare method statements and risk assessments for piling operations.
