Job description

• Operate forklift and other material handling equipment to move goods around the warehouse and production areas.
  
• Load and unload trucks, trailers, and containers as per safety and company guidelines.
  
• Stack and store goods in the designated areas to optimize space utilization.
  
• Transport raw materials to production lines and move finished goods to storage or dispatch areas.
  
• Conduct daily forklift equipment checks and report any defects or maintenance needs.
  
• Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
  
• Assist with physical inventory and cycle counts.
  
• Maintain cleanliness and order in the forklift operating zones.
  
• Support warehouse team with manual tasks when not operating the forklift

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
  
• Valid forklift operator license/certification (as per local regulatory requirements).
  
• Minimum 23 years of experience in forklift operation in a manufacturing or warehouse environment, preferably in the packaging or plastics industry.
  
• Good understanding of warehouse and logistics operations.
  
• Basic knowledge of safety procedures related to material handling.
  
• Ability to read and interpret shipping and inventory documents.
  
• Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects when needed.
  
• Attention to detail and good hand-eye coordination.
  

Working Conditions:

• Physically demanding role involving movement across warehouse/production areas.
  
• May require shift work, weekend availability, or overtime depending on operational needs.
