Job description

Job Purpose:

Ensure the safe and efficient execution of Transmission Line installation, maintenance, and repair works, including supervision of all associated construction activities and adherence to safety and quality standards.

Job Responsibilities:

Foreman Transmission Line is responsible for a variety of tasks, including:

• Safety: Ensuring that safety rules are followed and that workers are trained on how to use safety gear and equipment
• Construction: Installing insulators, overhead wire, and emergency restoration towers
• Maintenance: Performing maintenance and repair work on transmission lines
• Standards: Understanding and adhering to transmission and distribution standards
• Grounding: Understanding grounding procedures

Other responsibilities of a foreman include:

• Developing work schedules
• Coordinating daily tasks
• Delegating responsibilities to crew members
• Managing equipment and materials
• Monitoring attendance and work habits
• Reporting project status to supervisors
