Key Accountability Areas
Team Supervision and Leadership:
- Oversee electrical teams, including electricians and apprentices, ensuring effective task assignment based on skills and project needs.
Project Coordination and Collaboration:
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and trades to plan electrical work aligned with timelines.
- Communicate with clients and stakeholders about project progress and resolve issues promptly.
Technical Expertise and Compliance:
- Interpret blueprints and specifications to define the scope of electrical work and ensure compliance with electrical codes and standards.
- Ensure compliance with electrical codes and standards.
Material and Budget Management:
- Coordinate procurement of electrical materials and ensure availability.
Inspection and Troubleshooting:
- Oversee testing and inspection of electrical systems for compliance.
- Assist in troubleshooting issues to minimize downtime.
Documentation and Record Keeping:
- Maintain accurate records of work progress, material usage, and inspections.
Role Accountability
- Train subordinates and form a team to perform work effectively.
- Provide leadership, coaching, and direction to subordinates in all aspects of their work.
- Delegate subordinates in each respective assignment.
- Ensure fair distribution of tasks to maintain morale and motivation of subordinates.
