Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Fleet Manager to oversee the operations, maintenance, and overall performance of our vehicle fleet. The ideal candidate will ensure optimal fleet utilization, cost-efficiency, and compliance with safety and regulatory standards. This is a critical role in ensuring our transportation operations run smoothly and reliably.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the company’s vehicle fleet.
  • Manage vehicle acquisition, registration, licensing, and disposal.
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules and repair strategies.
  • Monitor fuel consumption, mileage, and operating costs to identify areas for improvement.
  • Ensure all vehicles meet legal, safety, and environmental standards.
  • Lead and supervise drivers and fleet maintenance staff.
  • Maintain accurate records related to fleet performance, expenses, and incidents.
  • Coordinate insurance claims and accident investigations.
  • Collaborate with logistics, operations, and procurement teams to align fleet needs with business goals.
  • Analyze fleet data and generate regular performance reports.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience (8–14 years) in fleet management or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance, logistics, and safety regulations.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in fleet management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication skills.
