Role Summary

The Fleet Manager oversees the operation, maintenance, and optimization of the company's vehicle fleet. Responsibilities include vehicle scheduling, cost management, driver compliance, and implementing fleet tracking systems to enhance productivity. The role requires collaboration with logistics, procurement, and operations teams to ensure timely deliveries and fleet efficiency.

Responsibilities
  1. Oversee daily fleet operations across all delivery centers
  2. Plan and coordinate vehicle schedules for efficient deliveries
  3. Monitor and control fleet-related costs such as fuel and maintenance
  4. Implement preventive maintenance to minimize downtime
  5. Ensure vehicles meet safety, legal, and environmental standards
  6. Manage GPS tracking and telematics systems for real-time visibility
  7. Coordinate with delivery teams to resolve operational issues
  8. Maintain records of inspections, licensing, insurance, and servicing
  9. Evaluate driver performance and enforce safety protocols
  10. Handle procurement and disposal of fleet vehicles
  11. Collaborate with logistics, operations, and warehouse teams
  12. Develop reports and KPIs to assess fleet efficiency
  13. Respond promptly to emergencies and breakdowns
  14. Identify opportunities for operational improvements and cost savings
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in logistics or supply chain management preferred
