- Reviews layouts, isometric drawings, and plan or work orders in preparation for fabricating metal components.
- Fabricates materials based on the Engineering Drawings Specification and on the company s standards and requirements.
- Records the daily output for submission to the immediate head s monitoring report.
- Clarifies with the immediate head any unclear instructions or details in the Engineering drawings to avoid repetition of work.
- Ensures that completion of work is maximum as to the given plan by the immediate supervisor.
- Find ways to reduce consumable cost and produce more on plan.

- Initiates kaizen or work improvement inputs to its job whenever arises.

- Performs 5S and other housekeeping activities to its work areas on a daily basis.
- Ensures that all storages are organized; and tools and supplies are conveniently located.
- Be updated on the Company Policies and Procedures on Safety and Health.
- Observes properly usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as hard hats, face masks and the like in the shop floor.
- Reports to the immediate head any accident for investigation and corrective solution.
- Ensure that fabrication works are in compliance to the Engineering Drawings specification, and with all applicable fabrication and welding standards and customer requirements.
- Ensure that NCR s are minimum or achieve zero.
- Checks the fabricated/ welded parts if it complies with the given specification to avoid possible QC rejection.
- Strictly follows the Engineering drawings to ensure that welded materials will yield no or lesser chance of repair or reworks.
- Sees all codes specification procedures, WPS and the like. (Checks with immediate supervisor if doubts with any drawings.)

Qualifications:- Must have a Diploma or ITI Certificate from Technical Institute
- Certificate in American Welding Society (AWS) is an advantage
- Minimum of 3 years working experience as Fitter at any Steel manufacturing, construction companies or any similar industry.
- Basic Knowledge in Welding, cutting and grinding.
