G.M.G INVESTMENT (L.L.C) is seeking a Fitness Equipment Technician responsible for assembling, maintaining, and repairing fitness items for customers. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience specifically with fitness brands, strong customer service skills, and a commitment to safety and quality in their work.

• Experience with known fitness brands preferred.

Job description

The role holder is responsible for assembling, maintaining and repairing Fitness items supplied to GMG customers, in stores as well as outdoor locations.

Accountabilities

Core Responsibilities:

• Repairs and assembles fitness equipments as per the requirements and specifications of the product/ Brand
• Tests the unit once installed to ensure all functionalities are properly running
• Keep the inventory of the workshop updated.
• Provide feedback on repairs and be a part of the mechanic and office team.
• Be customer service oriented and personable, educates customers on service features and functionality as you are the face of our company when you deliver & service machines.
• Follows all safety rules and regulations while installing and testing the equipments.
• Ensures that all tools and equipment used during work are in good, safe working order
• Refurbishes and fabricates the returned and damaged fitness machines as necessary
• Performs other responsibilities and tasks as required or as directed by line manager from time to time

Self-Management:

• Defines performance goals at the start of the year in discussion with the reporting manager and ensures that the goals are achieved during the course of the year
• Takes ownership of his/her own learning agenda by identifying development needs in consultation with the manager and agreeing on the individual development plan
• Keeps abreast of professional developments, new techniques and current issues through continued education and professional growth

Educational Qualifications and Certificates

• High School / Diploma – Bachelor’s Degree preferred’

Desired Candidate Profile

• A minimum of 3 -5 years of relevant experience
• Experience repairing and maintaining the known Fitness brands is preferred
