Job Description
About the Opportunity:
- We are recruiting on behalf of a well-respected interior fit-out company known for technical excellence and design innovation. They are looking for an MEP Engineer (Mechanical Bias) to join their growing Riyadh team and support the delivery of complex, high-spec projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and coordinate mechanical systems (HVAC, plumbing, fire fighting) for fit-out projects.
- Collaborate with consultants, subcontractors, and in-house teams to ensure seamless design integration.
- Prepare, review, and comment on MEP shop drawings, builder's work drawings, and as-builts.
- Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with design specifications, codes, and quality standards.
- Provide engineering solutions during construction to resolve site issues promptly.
- Liaise with procurement and estimation teams to support technical submittals and BOQ reviews.
- Ensure MEP works are executed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 7 years of experience in electrical engineering within fit-out or construction industries in Saudi Arabia.
- Experience with F&B, retail, hospitality, and commercial interiors projects.
- Must be based in Riyadh with a transferrable IQAMA.
- Strong mechanical background with working knowledge of electrical and plumbing systems.
- Familiarity with Saudi codes and international MEP standards.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and a strong communicator.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple site interfaces.
