Overview

We are seeking a Fire Protection Trainer to join our Engineering & Training Services Division within Saudi Aramco Fire Protection.

The division provides accredited training, development, and certification for our fire protection workforce, from recruitment to Chief Fire Officer levels. It operates a National Board for Fire Service Professional Qualifications and an internationally accredited certification system, delivering training through three designated centers.

Your primary role involves leading training programs from instructional design to field delivery, securing third-party accreditation, and maintaining fire training facilities and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Demonstrate proficiency in all skills required in training courses, including adverse environments like extreme heat, humidity, live fire, and technical rescue.
  • Operate, inspect, maintain, and troubleshoot fire training systems and facilities.
  • Facilitate safe and effective training sessions and assessments.
  • Conduct training needs analyses and develop fire and rescue programs.
  • Mentor and develop instructional staff for workforce growth and succession planning.
Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Fire Science, Emergency Management, Occupational Safety, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • At least 10 years of frontline fire-rescue response experience in organizations with similar risk profiles to Saudi Aramco, covering structural, industrial, and mixed environments.
  • Experience in industrial operations like oil & gas, petrochemical, aviation, maritime, manufacturing, military, etc.
  • Demonstrable mastery in fire-rescue operations.
  • Ability to meet physical fitness standards.
  • Pro Board or IFSAC certifications in Fire-Fighter I/II, HazMat Operations, Fire Service Instructor II, and Fire Officer II; additional certifications preferred.
  • Technical aptitude in fire service equipment and systems maintenance.
