Job summary

HALA, a leading fintech in the MENAP region, seeks a Financial Operations Analyst to review financial operations and suggest actions to improve profit margins. The role emphasizes tax data integrity, data reconciliation, and monthly reporting across teams.

Ideal candidates have 2–5 years of experience, a bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance or related field, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and ledger systems; English and Arabic fluency is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or equivalent fields.
• The education levels can be replaced by years of experience
• Two to five years of experience in a similar role

Responsibilities

• Maintain and correct customer tax data
• Prepare, review and verify customer data for tax invoice and for compliance and correctness
• Answer questions, resolve issues, and track down discrepancies regarding tax invoice and credit note
• Prepare and perform analysis report upon request
• Reconcile transactions by comparing and correcting data of financial transactions
• Verify payment and document process to ensure the payment amount is accurate
• Assist with pre-forming analysis of data, including development of standard metric and trend management
• Assist in the preparation of monthly reporting schedules
• Work with the various departments to understand main drivers of variance from budget
• Support management reporting related to the operations performance on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis
• Identify, perform and drive process improvement opportunities in the month end close process
• Prepare, consolidate, review and present cost analysis on a monthly basis to finance and operations leadership teams

Job Summary
