Duties & Responsibilities
- Produce timely and accurate financial and operational reporting and analysis that provides actionable insights to the business
- Full cycle operational and financial planning and forecast management including income statement, balance sheet and cash flow
- Ensure effective controls are practiced to safeguard assets and provide confidence in the integrity and reliability of the financial reporting
- Improve relations with Banks and creditors and work on preserving the company history and image
- Manages investment evaluation analysis and works closely with team to recommend decisions
- Supports external financial, statutory and regulatory audits
- Works closely with business teams to identify and implement business process improvements
- Leads monthly financial reporting package development and communication to business teams and executive leadership
- Leads a team of professionals responsible and accountable for all business planning and decision support
- Owns the performance management process for the finance team including skills and capabilities assessment, identifying and solving for developmental needs, goal setting and measurement and succession planning
- Supports other accounting and business requirements as needed
- Complies with local, state, and federal law requirements
- Prepares, documents, and complies information for the annual Budgetary Compliance Report (BCR)
- Monitors accounts payable and receivable activities
- Monitors bank accounts; updates cash flow matrix daily and cash forecasting
- Reconciles general ledger accounts
- Oversees vendor management form process
- Completes month and year-end processes
- Establishes and enforces proper accounting methods, policies, and principles
- Improves systems, procedures, and initiates corrective actions
- Assigns projects and directs staff to ensure compliance and accuracy
- Provides leadership and strives to deliver outstanding results and service to internal and external customers
- Establishes and maintains fiscal files and records to document transactions
- Reviews, interprets and writes policies and procedures associated with accounting
- Completes special projects and performs other duties as assigned
Requirements & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in finance or accounting
- Graduate Degree, MBA, CMA and/or CPA designation preferred, but not mandated
- Minimum of 8 years’ finance and/or accounting manager experience in mega companies in Saudi Arabia with experience in real estate development, property management and construction
