What You’ll Be Doing As a Financial Controller
In consultation with the General Manager and Director of Sales & Marketing, prepare the financial budget for Fraser Suites Riyadh and submit to Corporate Office and the Owner in the specified format.
Implement measures to control operating expenses to achieve financial objectives.
Forecast and manage cash flows to ensure the efficient use of capital to meet business requirements.
Manage the fixed asset register and implement measures to control the movement and/or disposal of assets.
Liaise with internal/external legal advisors, consultants, and regulatory authorities to ensure operational and legal compliance in all business dealings.
Prepare and submit monthly financial and management reports on behalf of Fraser Suites Riyadh to Corporate Office and the Owner on a timely basis.
Conduct detailed business forecast analysis.
Ensure effective systems are implemented to manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll functions and the staff engaged to perform these duties.
Preparation of the bank reconciliation on a daily and monthly basis.
Maintain a continuous improvement regime to ensure best practice measures are employed in all finance department related procedures.
What We’re Looking For
Formal qualifications at tertiary level to degree standard in accountancy and completion of CPA Certified Public Accountant.
Proven experience within a hotel finance department at management or senior management level.
Knowledge of local financial regulations and laws.
Updated knowledge of IFRS Accounting Standards.
Competency in Sage 300, MICROS, Bayan, Infor HMS, Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Vingcard, and related hospitality proprietary software packages.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Strong organizational and work coordinating skills combined with an ability to handle multiple assignments and projects simultaneously.

Ability to work to deadlines.
Able to identify and implement new business practices and processes.
