Position: Financial Controller

Location: KSA Riyadh

Role:

The Financial Controller is responsible for overseeing all financial operations within the company. This includes managing accounting functions, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. The role involves developing financial strategies, conducting risk assessments, and providing insights to support business decisions. Additionally, the Financial Controller supervises the finance team, coordinates budgeting and forecasting processes, and maintains internal controls to safeguard company assets.

Responsibilities:

  • Financial Reporting: Oversee the preparation and accuracy of financial statements, monthly/quarterly reports, and year-end financials.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead the budgeting process and work with departments to forecast revenues, costs, and capital expenditures. Monitor financial performance against budget and provide strategic analysis to management.
  • Internal Controls: Establish and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets. Ensure that the organization adheres to company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Cash Flow Management: Oversee cash flow planning and ensure the organization has the necessary liquidity to meet its obligations. Monitor and report on cash flow trends and optimize the use of working capital.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise the accounting team, ensuring accurate accounting practices and efficiency in operations. Provide guidance, training, and performance evaluations for team members.
  • Audit and Compliance: Coordinate and liaise with internal and external auditors for audit purposes. Ensure timely filing of financial statements and compliance with tax regulations.
  • Strategic Financial Planning: Support senior management in making informed financial decisions by providing insights into financial data, analyzing risks, and identifying opportunities for cost savings or revenue generation.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • CMA is a must.
  • 5+ years of experience in financial management or accounting, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and tax laws.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable business insights.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
