Job Description:
Position Main Objective:
To support clients and internal teams in analyzing financial data, preparing reports, and providing actionable insights that promote sound financial decision-making. The Financial Consultant will assist in budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and investment analysis, helping to ensure financial health and strategic alignment with organizational goals.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of financial plans, models, and reports for clients or internal stakeholders.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, risks, and opportunities.
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes across departments or client portfolios.
- Collaborate with senior consultants or finance managers to develop tailored financial strategies.
- Prepare client presentations, investment proposals, and financial documentation.
- Conduct industry and market research to support strategic financial recommendations.
- Monitor financial performance indicators and assist in KPI reporting.
- Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations, company policies, and accounting standards.
- Participate in client meetings to gather requirements, present findings, and provide financial insights.
- Maintain updated knowledge of financial products, economic conditions, and market trends.
Educational Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field. Professional certifications such as CFA (Level I or II), CPA, or progress toward completion is an advantage.
Experience:
1 to 3 years of experience in financial analysis, consulting, or corporate finance roles. Internship or prior exposure to financial planning, modeling, or advisory services is preferred for junior level.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced), PowerPoint, and financial modeling tools.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.
