Financial Auditor

Our client is a prominent Construction company based in Mecca, Saudi Arabia, known for developing and managing high-profile properties. They are seeking an experienced Auditor to oversee and improve internal controls, financial accuracy, and regulatory compliance. Notice Period: Immediate joiners or a maximum one-month notice period.

The Auditor will be responsible for conducting audits of financial records, processes, and systems to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in the Construction sector, with a proven track record of risk assessment, process improvement, and strategic recommendations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Conduct comprehensive audits of financial statements, property assets, and Construction transactions.
2. Assess and analyze internal control systems, identifying weaknesses and implementing corrective actions.
3. Ensure compliance with local and international financial reporting standards and Construction regulations.
4. Review and validate financial records, budgets, and forecasts to detect discrepancies.
5. Develop audit plans, schedules, and detailed reports for senior management.
6. Collaborate with departments to improve operational efficiency and minimize risks.
7. Provide insights and recommendations for cost-saving measures and revenue enhancement.
8. Monitor compliance with tax laws, property laws, and contractual obligations.
9. Lead investigations into potential fraud or irregularities in financial activities.
10. Stay updated on Construction market trends and regulatory changes impacting the industry.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA, CMA, or CIA preferred).
2. 10+ years of experience in auditing, with at least 5 years in the Construction industry.
3. Strong understanding of Construction asset valuation, leasing, and property management.
4. Excellent knowledge of IFRS, GAAP, and Saudi Arabian regulatory requirements.
5. Proven ability to manage multiple audit assignments simultaneously.
6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
7. Exceptional communication and reporting abilities in both Arabic and English.

Preferred Skills:

1. Experience working with large Construction portfolios or development projects.
2. Knowledge of Construction ERP systems.
3. Ability to lead and mentor junior auditors.
