At Lendo, we're a fast-growing FinTech company reshaping SME financing in Saudi Arabia. Our digital lending platform provides fast, transparent, and secure access to capital - helping businesses thrive and fueling economic growth.

We're looking for a Financial Accountant to join our finance team. You'll help ensure accurate financial records by managing GL entries, accruals, prepayments, and supporting audits, inspections, and tax reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create all accounting transactions.
  • Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.
  • Reconcile accounts, balance sheet schedules (prepaid, F.A & other payables)
  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports such as financial statements & management Accounts.
  • Ensure timely & accurate bank payments
  • Compute taxes and prepare tax returns
  • Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary.
  • In absence of reconciliation officer, Prepare Bi-monthly reconciliation report, detect & identify any irregularities or anomalies in daily transactions.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable standards, rules, regulations, and systems of internal control.
  • Any other task required within the scope of the department.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 to 4 years' experience in a similar role.
  • Proven experience in accounting
  • Dedication to required work.

Education & Experience:
  • B.A/ BSc in Accounting(preferred), Finance, or relevant degree
  • Work experience as an Accountant, preferably in Financial Services or fintech background

Skills & Abilities:
  • Excellent knowledge of accounting practices and procedures
  • Hands-on experience with accounting software like Zoho, Xero or SAP
  • Advanced MS Excel skills including VLOOKUP's and pivot tables.
  • Experience with general ledger functions
  • Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills
