As a Finance Unit Lead at Quant, you will be responsible for leading the finance function across the group. This includes overseeing accounting and compliance, internal reporting, and team leadership. You will play a strategic role in shaping financial direction, enhancing operational efficiency, and supporting data-driven decision-making to fuel Quant’s growth.
Job Responsibilities:
Supervise all accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and intercompany reconciliations.
Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual closings for all group entities.
Maintain full compliance with IFRS and local tax laws, including VAT and WHT filings.
Lead external audits and coordinate with auditors across the group.
Maintain clean and accurate books for the holding company and its subsidiaries.
Lead and mentor the finance team to foster a high-performance, accountable culture.
Allocate responsibilities and improve efficiency through structured policies and internal controls.
Oversee internal financial reporting, including cash flow analysis, budget variance, and spend tracking.
Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting processes in collaboration with all departments.
Build and maintain financial dashboards and KPIs to support executive decision-making.
Prepare investor reports covering financials, burn rate, and key performance metrics.
Liaise with external advisors, tax consultants, and legal partners for financial matters.
Manage and improve finance systems (e.g., Zoho Books, Power BI) to automate reporting and ensure data integrity.
Coordinate with IT and operations to align systems with financial needs.
Requirements
Education and Experience Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years in financial leadership roles.
Experience in tech or fast-paced startup environments is a strong plus.
