The Purpose of the Role

Join a team of commercial finance professionals supporting financial decisions for one of Honeywell's businesses. You will assist in financial planning, analysis, and reporting to enhance financial performance and strategy execution. Your role will involve supporting business leaders and finance initiatives, identifying trends, and aiding management decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends and impacts, providing insights to meet operational and financial targets.
  2. Demonstrate strong business acumen to understand the BMS & EP business model and key drivers, supporting growth and stabilization efforts.
  3. Contribute to investment evaluations, order negotiations, and payment terms to maximize operating income and cash flow.
  4. Assess growth opportunities with leadership based on regional and service-specific strategies.
  5. Act as a financial adviser and business advocate, ensuring compliance with financial controls and policies.
  6. Analyze profitability and key indicators, leading the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) process and monthly reviews.
  7. Conduct ad-hoc analyses to identify business trends and evaluate new business areas.
  8. Collaborate with supply chain leadership to drive revenue and ensure KPI adherence, including overdue tracking.
  9. Review working capital and implement cash flow improvement initiatives, analyzing receivables, payables, and vendor balances.
  10. Perform additional analyses to improve cash-to-cash efficiency and coordinate with working capital leads.
  11. Ensure compliance in general accounting activities and maintain a robust internal control environment.
